Ron Landis

Ron began woodworking in 1991, as he was winding down his career with the Federal Government. He started by crafting cutting boards. As a self-taught woodworker, he played around with things like trays and, early attempts at tables. He still uses a walnut coffee table that was his first major project! Hand sanding, staining and polishing gave Ron a sense of gratification and completeness when the finished product was obtained. He expanded his skills into crafting sofa tables, side tables, his own version of corner chairs, cherry stands, as well as pieces requested by customers (such as dictionary stands, and a stand up desk). Ron's work has been displayed in several art galleries in

the valley.
