Sally Ridgway

My glass art adventure began a few years ago. After losing mhusband of 35 years to ALS I found I needed some creative outlet. I've not had any formal art education and had only dabbled a little in this and that. When visiting a local ceramic shop to make some gifts I was introduced to glass fusing. I fell in love with this art form. There are so many directions you can go with fusing and I am having fun exploring all of these. I do like to keep some of the mystery in fusing. I use very few established forms or molds. Cutting different shapes and layering multiple colors allows for an exciting element of surprise when the piece is finished. To me that is the beauty of this art form.
