I have always been interested in the outdoors and nature. I grew up fishing, hunting, and taking my first photographs on my grandfather’s farm in the Fulks Run area.
After taking several photography classes at Bridgewater College and BRCC and purchasing a decent camera (film at the that time), I started visiting the Skyline Drive where wildlife and landscapes were in abundance. I also kept upgrading my equipment when I could afford it, taking wildlife/outdoor weekend seminars, and hanging out with more experienced photographers on the Drive.
I enjoy the anticipation of never knowing just what you might have the opportunity of seeing and photographing, and being able to put your skills to the test. The only animals I “shoot” anymore are with the camera!
